The West Sacramento Area Flood Control Agency is working quickly and efficiently to face the challenges of stricter flood control standards imposed by the state in 2006 that must be met by 2030. The last phase of construction for the Southport Levee Improvement Project started at the end of May. This final phase brings material from Elk Grove to restore the parcels where material was sourced to construct the Southport setback levee.

项目细节: WSAFCA has completed construction of the Southport Levee Improvement Project which involves the construction of flood risk-reduction measures along the Sacramento River South Levee in the city of West Sacramento.
